I keep reading these medical journals, scouring the cases, reading over to detect any similarities.
But every time I do, it’s like history is repeating itself over and over in my mind.
I don’t even know if it would make me feel better to know whether there could have been other options.
All I know is that I would give anything to just go back 6 months. To be able to see her, even sick, is worth far more than whatever’s in the future waiting for me.
To hear her voice clear and undistorted by a camera. To hold her hand when she was scared. To be the one that she looked to when she was hurting.
It’s like I’m living in this other plane of reality where she’s not gone, she’s just not here. That’s all I can accept at the present.

My belief is not a conditional thing. So yes, but its complicated. When you pray for your loved ones constantly and see them constantly getting worse, its hard not to be angry. When haley died, my life turned upside down, and im still working through it, trying to make sense of it.
